Celebrating Mumbai Brands at Mumbai Brand Summit & Hot 50 Brands

The Hot 50 brands of Mumbai were unveiled on September 11th 2015 by Paul Writer, India’s first community of marketers, at the Mumbai Brand Summit & Hot 50 Brands program, presented by OneIndia and co-hosted by Vizury.  This is the second edition of this recognition program that covers Bangalore, Delhi/NCR and Mumbai.

The Hot 50 were selected through a process that involved online voting and evaluation by an elite jury on the parameters of Industry leading growth, Increase in positive sentiment, Innovation and  Differentiation.

The jury was chaired by Madhavan Narayanan, Media Thinker, Hindustan Times and comprised brand gurus such as Madhukar Kamath, Group CEO and MD-DDB Mudra Group, Jaideep Gokhale, Director-Marketing Communications, South Asia, East Asia & Oceania-Tetra Pak, Ashish Bhasin, Chairman & CEO South Asia Dentsu Aegis Network, Chairman Posterscope and psLive Asia Pacific, Lloyd Mathias, Marketing Head – India, Printing & Personal Systems, Hewlett-Packard and Ranjivit Singh, Senior Vice President – Corporate Marketing, CMO, Samsung India Electronics.

To enable participation of a diverse group of top achieving brands, applications were invited under five categories: Young Organizations, SMB (revenue < Rs 100 crores), B2B, B2C and Large Organisations (revenue > Rs 100 crores)

Commenting on the concept of the city-based Hot 50 Brands, Jessie Paul, CEO, Paul Writer, said, “This is the second edition of the Brand Summits celebrating the brands that define each of these cities- Delhi/NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore. India has a rich trove of powerful brands and the objective of doing these city-wise and considering only brands with local or global headquarters there was to go deeper into the brand excellence of each location.”
